01 project introduction
In order to reduce the thermal conductivity and heat capacity, a lot of micro pores are produced in the materials by the process of pore forming agent or foaming. Pore structure, i.e. pore size, distribution and state, will have a great influence on the properties of materials. Using a single pore forming process, the pore size distribution is relatively concentrated, and when the porosity is high, a large number of connected pores will be formed, which on the one hand reduces the heat insulation effect, on the other hand, significantly reduces the contact surface between the grains in the material, resulting in the decrease of the material strength and high temperature creep resistance.
Superporous structure materials (SPS materials) integrate many ways (mechanical pore making, foaming, loss on ignition, stacking), introduce various sizes of pores (macro pores, micro pores, nano pores) into the materials, and make the state of pores present different layers (directional pores, gradient pores, combined pores). Through the synergistic action between different pore structures, the limitation of the existing porous high temperature materials is broken, which makes the materials have high porosity and good creep resistance at high temperature.
02 technical advantages
SPS material preparation technology has applied for Chinese and international patents. The main technical advantages of the material are as follows:
(1) Excellent high temperature resistance, the highest working temperature can reach 1750 ℃;
(2) Light weight and low heat capacity, the specific gravity is only 1 / 4 of the existing corundum refractories, and the volume heat capacity is 1 / 5 of the existing corundum refractories;
(3) Super low thermal conductivity, superior to all kinds of light insulating bricks, 1 / 10 of corundum refractories;
(4) Outstanding high temperature creep resistance, superior to similar products of Japanese enterprises at the international leading level;
(5) It has excellent thermal shock resistance and can withstand severe thermal shock caused by repeated cold and hot cycles;
(6) Flexible and convenient processability, can be processed and assembled like wood, greatly reducing the construction cost.
03 application prospect
The SPS material is used to develop the kiln structure and kiln furniture. At present, there are standard bricks for ceramic kilns and blocks, plates, columns, beams and special-shaped parts of various sizes, which can be used for the manufacture of various types of ceramic and inorganic materials kilns.
In the contrast experiment, compared with the same size furnace made of alumina hollow ball material, the experimental furnace made of SPS material plate and standard brick, after 10 firing cycles at 1600 ℃, the top of the comparison furnace has appeared through cracks, but no cracks and creep have been found on the top of the experimental furnace.
At present, all kinds of SPS material products have been applied in many kinds of kilns of ceramic and refractory enterprises, showing excellent performance and outstanding energy saving effect.
