What is car crystal plating?

There are three kinds of materials: polysiloxane, polysilazane and inorganic silicon. Among them, polysiloxane is an early product, slow drying product, which can only be used on the hard surface of the paint; polysiloxane, as a military material, has high hardness and good adhesion, so most of the base materials are suitable except for the paint surface. Inorganic silicon plating crystal is relatively rare at present; the latter two are quick drying products. At the initial stage, the plating crystals are mainly polysiloxane products. Due to its relatively low hardness, limited scratch resistance, poor adhesion, easy to crack and fall off and other shortcomings, the protection effect is very limited, so it needs frequent maintenance. After continuous research, the plating crystals of polysiloxane and inorganic silicon materials are gradually developed, which has improved the quality compared with siloxane products; polysiloxane and inorganic silicon plating crystal cause The film density is high, so it needs to be brightened in a short time. The hardness of the film after curing is better (5-7h, but the actual hardness of siloxane is generally no more than 3H), the refractive index is better (better brightness), and the adhesion is good (no cracking), which can better protect the paint surface.






The most remarkable feature of plating crystal is that a strong fiber net is formed on the surface of the object, which fills the invisible "pores" of the paint surface of the car body, making the paint surface achieve the mirror effect, which undoubtedly adds a thin diamond soft armour to the paint surface, on the basis of the original coating, it increases the hardness of the paint, and protects the paint from being damaged!






What is the difference between crystal plating and film plating?






1. Different meanings of the project: the literal meaning of the project of automobile coating is to cover a protective film on the automobile paint, especially the film layer; the literal meaning of the project of automobile coating crystal is to cover a layer of crystal on the surface of automobile paint, and the crystal is prominent.






2. Different maturity: coating has a history of nearly ten years and is widely used, which is the mainstream product of Automobile beauty projects; plating crystal has a history of about four years and is still in the growth stage or mature stage.






3. Different protection effects: the organic coating in the coating belongs to the basic protection category, highlighting the improvement and brightening effect of the anti-oxidation performance of the paint surface; the plating crystal belongs to the general protection category, highlighting the anti-oxidation performance of the paint surface, some effects of increasing the hardness of the paint surface.






4. The retention time is different: the retention time of organic coating is generally 3-6 months; the retention time of inorganic coating is more than 12 months; the retention time of crystal plating is generally 12-18 months.
