Classification of insulation material grades and application of high-temperature resistant ceramic insulation coatings

Hits: 541 img

Insulating coatings, also known as insulating coatings, are a type of coating with excellent electrical insulation properties, such as electrical insulation, thermal properties, mechanical properties, etc. They are mostly varnish or colored paint. Insulating paint is a special type of paint, which is an important insulation material based on polymer and can solidify into an insulation film or insulation whole under certain conditions. Traditional insulation paint is composed of base materials, flame retardants, curing agents, pigments and fillers, and solvents.

According to the degree of heat resistance, insulation materials are divided into 7 levels: Y, A, E, B, F, H, C, etc

Y-level insulation with temperature resistance of 90 ℃

A-level insulation temperature resistance 105 ℃

E-class insulation with temperature resistance of 120 ℃

B-level insulation with temperature resistance of 130 ℃

F level insulation temperature resistance 155 ℃

H-class insulation with temperature resistance of 180 ℃

C-level insulation with temperature resistance above 200 ℃

There is a close relationship between insulation level and insulation temperature resistance, as the higher the temperature, the poorer the insulation performance of the material. So, different levels of insulation materials have a maximum allowable working temperature, within which they can be safely used. It should be noted that if the working temperature of the insulation material exceeds its own insulation heat resistance temperature, the insulation material will quickly age and become unusable, which may also cause safety hazards. So, when choosing to use insulation materials, it is important to pay more attention.
