Polyorganosiloxane is a linear polymer composed of alternating silicon and oxygen atoms. After crosslinking and vulcanization, it has excellent resistance to high and low temperatures, atmospheric aging, electrical insulation, and elasticity. It can be used for a long time within the range of -60~200 ℃, and its physical and mechanical properties rarely change. Therefore, it is widely used in industries such as construction, electronics, automotive, packaging, medical and health care, showing excellent development momentum. The use of organic silicone adhesives and sealants continues to expand, and the variety and dosage are also increasing year by year.

The siloxanes in organic silicone resins can react with compounds containing functional groups, such as epoxy, phenolic, and polyimide, so these compound resins can be used to modify organic silicone adhesives.

Organic silicone adhesives with pure silicone resin as the main material are generally made with xylene as the solvent and inorganic fillers such as asbestos powder, mica powder, titanium dioxide, and zinc oxide. It is cross-linked and polymerized and cured at high temperatures (270 ℃), with excellent high-temperature resistance. It can be used for a long time at 400 ℃ and is suitable for non-structural bonding and sealing at high temperatures.

Pure silicone resin adhesive is inconvenient to use due to its high curing temperature, low bonding strength, and can only be used as a non structural adhesive. By using one OH in epoxy, phenolic, and polyvinyl alcohol to react with siloxane in silicone resin and introducing this type of resin for modification, the high temperature resistance of silicone resin adhesive can be maintained, while the curing temperature can be reduced and the bonding strength can be improved.

Organic silicone resin can be used for anti stick coatings on rollers, widely used in various fields such as textile, printing and dyeing, paper making, rubber processing, plastic processing, etc. It is also used for anti stick coatings on rollers, molds, pipelines, engine walls, food machinery, printing machinery hoppers, frying pans, anti rust and anti slip coatings on safety knives, etc. Comparison between fluorine resin non stick coatings and organic silicone resin non stick coatings: The former has disadvantages such as high curing temperature, complex construction process, low film gloss, and single color, thus limiting its application range; Organic silicone resin non stick coatings have the advantages of relatively low curing temperature, high gloss, diverse colors, and convenient application, and are also very popular among users in practical construction applications. Of course, fluorine resin non stick coatings have slight advantages in non stick properties compared to silicone resin non stick coatings.
