Silicone resin's anti-adhesive and mold release properties are similar to those of silicone oil, with the main difference being that silicone mold release agents can form a semi-permanent film on the mold, which can be used continuously for dozens to hundreds of times without needing to be replaced, whereas silicone oil release agents need to be replaced frequently. Therefore, silicone mold release agent is cleaner and more corrosion-resistant, which can solve the problem of silicone oil release agent on the product staining.
Used as a mold release silicone resin coating, usually low R / Si value of silicone resin dissolved in aromatic hydrocarbons or aliphatic hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons mixed with a dilute solution of solvents, the concentration is generally 15% ~ 30%. Usually also contains a small amount of silicone oil to prevent thermal cracking of the nitrocellulose resin film. Silicone resin release coating can be used by spraying, brushing or dipping, and finally must be cured at 200~230℃ for about 2h, so that a smooth, colorless semi-permanent coating film can be obtained. In order to achieve the best release effect and ensure that the film is firmly attached, the metal mold surface must be cleaned and degreased by sand blasting.
Silicone mold release coating industry has been used as a bread tray, frying pan, non-stick cookware, plastic and rubber molded products molds and non-stick barrier paper tape, etc., mold release agent, because it has a long service life and a number of other advantages, so it has replaced the traditional release materials such as grease, mineral oil and fatty acids.
Usually used silicone mold release agent has pure silicone oil, silicone oil emulsion and silicone resin, in the use of choice depends mainly on the economy, service life and application of the degree of difficulty. For example, in the production of rubber, plastic mold products, generally can be every few molds gently sprayed with silicone oil emulsion release agent; but in the case of baking bread, baking pan of the release agent requires a long service life, for which silicone resin is usually chosen as a release coating. By spraying or impregnating, the silicone resin is applied to the baking tray and other non-stick cookware, and the tray is grilled to cure the resin. The so-produced bread tray can be demolded 200~500 times without adding fat, and when the bread tray loses its demolding effect, it can be re-processed according to the above method.
