1、Amino modified silicone oil
Amino-modified silicone oils are polydimethylsiloxanes containing amino groups in the side chains or end groups, and are also called amino silicone oils. This type of silicone oil is the basic ingredient for textile softening agents. Because of its good adsorption, compatibility, when the amino silicone oil is emulsified into a microemulsion by the appropriate surfactant, used in textile finishing can increase the softness of the fiber material, and therefore used as a textile softening agent for a variety of textile finishing, amino silicone oil can also be used in the field of cosmetic additives, coatings additives, resin modifiers, and brightening agents.
2、Epoxy modified silicone oil
Epoxy modified silicone oil polydimethylsiloxane side chain or end group contains epoxy group of a class of silicone oil is called epoxy modified silicone oil. The use of such modified silicone oil can improve the elasticity of the fabric, if such silicone oil and polyether modified silicone oil used in conjunction with the finishing of the fabric softness is better, but also has the characteristics of anti-wrinkle, wash-resistant, etc., and the use of amino-modified silicone oil blending can make the fabric has a better feel.
3、Polyether modified silicone oil
Side chain or end group containing polyether groups (polyoxyethylene, polyoxypropylene, fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene ether) of polydimethylsiloxane is known as polyether-modified silicone oil, which can improve the moisture absorption properties of fabric finishing. Because of the hydrophilicity of the polyether group, the hydrophilicity of the polyether silicone oil is increased, and the molecule has both hydrophobic and hydrophilic groups, so this kind of silicone oil shows better water solubility, and there will be no emulsion breakage, oil bleaching and other problems in the process of using. Secondly, the introduction of polyether group also makes the moisture absorption, anti-static, easy to remove dirt of the finishing fiber or fabric increase, so polyether silicone oil is used more in clothing softener, cosmetics, shampoo products. Another main use of polyether silicone oil is as a surfactant for polyurethane foam stabilizers, also called leveling agent, to adjust the bubble drop of polyurethane foam. Polyether silicone oil is the largest amount of aminosilicone softener before the development of the best effect of a class of active silicone softener.
