4.Application in metallurgical industry
In the metallurgical industry, the protective ceramic coating on the surface of metal workpiece can effectively prevent the oxidation and oxygen permeation in the process of metal smelting and thermal processing under high temperature, so as to achieve the purpose of protecting the workpiece. Studies have shown that in the carbide tool surface melting a layer of 0.9mm boron nitride ceramic coating, the carbide tool cutting effect can be enhanced up to 5 times more.
