Silicone oil and silicone adhesive reaction refers to the phenomenon of chemical reaction between silicone oil and silicone under specific conditions. Silicone oil is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula Si-O-Si, which is commonly used as a lubricant and insulating material. Silicone is an elastomer, composed of silicon atoms and oxygen atoms arranged alternately, often used for sealing, filling and bonding.
When silicone oil and silicone gel come into contact, some special chemical reactions will occur due to their similar chemical composition. First, the silicone oil penetrates into the tiny pores of the silicone and fills the internal structure of the silicone. In this way, an intimate physical connection is formed between the silicone oil and the silicone gel.
Second, the chemical composition of the silicone oil interacts with the silicon atoms on the surface of the silicone to form a lubricating film similar to silicone oil. This lubricating film acts as a cushion and friction reducer between the silicone oil and the silicone gel, allowing the two to fit together better.
In addition, the bonding reaction between silicone oil and silicone gel is affected by external conditions such as temperature, pressure and humidity. Under the right conditions, the lamination performance of silicone oil and silicone gel can be further improved.
