Due to the solubility parameters of siloxane is far lower than dry other compounds and materials, coupled with low surface tension, thus silicone resin has obvious incompatibility, that is, it is not easy to mix with other substances, thus showing excellent anti-adhesive.
2, thermal stability, silicone resin heat resistance is far better than the general organic resin, it can be used for a long time at 200 ~ 250 ℃ without decomposition or discoloration, a short period of time can be resistant to 300 ℃, if with the heat-resistant pigmented filler, silicone resin coatings can withstand higher temperatures, silicone can not only withstand high temperatures, but also back to low temperatures, and eye of its chemical and physical properties with the temperature change is very small, which is related to the silicone molecules is easy to wind the curved spiral structure, when the temperature is low, it is easy to wind the curve. The spiral structure of the silicone molecule is easy to wind around the curve, when the temperature rises, on the one hand, increases the average distance between molecules. On the other hand, the spiral expansion reduces the distance between the molecules, spiral stretching and contraction can alleviate the effect of temperature, thus having excellent resistance to temperature change.
3, weathering, weathering is one of the main features of silicone resin, and thus is widely used as a film-forming polymers for high weathering coatings, silicone resin weathering is good for two reasons: First, silicone resin in the Si-O bond is very stable, it is difficult to produce by the ultraviolet caused by the free radical reaction, but also not easy to oxidation reaction; Second, silicone resin is not sensitive to sunlight.
