Wuhan Tongji Hospital, supported by our medical team, was designated as the new crown hospital by the local government. On March 25, it began to receive new crown patients transferred from other hospitals. As a critical medical team of Jiangsu Province, we have just received a notice from our superiors today that we plan to support Wuhan Pulmonary Hospital next week.
Looking at other medical teams returning to Jiangsu, I feel a little envious and homesick. But I will never regret that as a member of the critical medical team, it is also a glory to stick to the front line until the end.
As the temperature warms up, wearing protective clothing becomes more sultry. The process of going to work is the same as that of washing sauna. It's hot and humid. Sweaty clothes can wring out water, and the fingers wearing latex gloves have a layer of white skin. The indentations on the forehead and nose are good and good. I'm used to it, but I'm used to it.
Most of the patients in the ward have been discharged. The rest of the patients know that today is the last shift we are on duty here, and they are very reluctant to leave. Grandpa in bed shook hands with us one by one to say goodbye. My uncle in bed 37 was confused and restless when he was admitted to the hospital. After our treatment, he is now able to eat and drink water by himself, speak Wuhan dialect, often communicate with us through gestures, and know that we are going to leave. Tears flow out uncontrollably.
The battle continues, and we are about to move on to another battlefield.
