Recently, the first session of the national clinical pharmacist training base of Jiangsu Cancer Hospital (Cancer Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University) started. Bao Jun, the president of the hospital, the Deputy Secretary of the Party committee, Zhou Guoren, the vice president, and the relevant functions, the head of the clinical department, the teaching physician and the trainees attended the opening ceremony. The meeting was presided over by Wei Qing, director of the pharmaceutical department.
At the meeting, President Bao Jun introduced the disciplinary advantages of clinical pharmacist training in our hospital, fully affirmed the achievements of clinical pharmacy in the pharmaceutical department, and emphasized the urgency and importance of clinical pharmacist training. At the same time, President Bao put forward specific requirements for the teaching team and trainees on how to achieve "mutual improvement and mutual promotion" in the training process.
Vice President Zhou Guoren welcomed the arrival of all the students, asked the pharmaceutical department and relevant departments to fully cooperate in the implementation of all the teaching work, and put forward the requirements for the students to complete their studies conscientiously and reliably, and do a good job in epidemic prevention and control.
Director Wei Qing explained in detail the current situation of the development of clinical pharmacy, the management system, training plan and overall arrangement of the national training base for clinical pharmacists.
The present experts discussed the details of the training work, and put forward constructive suggestions on refining the training program of specific clinical departments, promoting the full cooperation of clinical pharmacists and departments, and making good use of the relevant resources of resident training.
With the strong support of the hospital and the active cooperation of various clinical departments, and the unremitting efforts of the pharmaceutical department for many years, our hospital was officially approved as the "national clinical pharmacist training base" in 2019, which has three training specialties: general medicine, anti-tumor and anti-tumor. In the spring of 2020, we will recruit excellent clinical pharmacist students nationwide. The students enrolled in this period will complete clinical pharmacy practice study for half a year to one year in the pharmacy department, internal medicine department, thoracic surgery department, general surgery department, gynecological oncology department, analgesia department and other departments of the hospital. They will be active in the clinical front line, actively integrate into the medical treatment team, participate in the drug treatment process, and promote clinical drug treatment practice.
