The most noteworthy feature is its low density. If you want to make things that require high weight, such as components on airplanes and rockets, using PMS would be perfect. It can make these things lightweight and easy to use.
In fact, the structure inside PMS is also very interesting. It has a Si Si linear structure and a main structural unit called - CH ∝ SiH -. The Si-H bonds in it are very important. It is through them that SiC fibers with a near stoichiometric ratio can be generated during pyrolysis. This is like a "key" to open the door to success for manufacturing SiC fibers and functional materials.
On the global stage, there are not many manufacturers producing PMS, but our country is very powerful. Not only do we produce a lot, but we also use it a lot. Just like there is a Bowang Carbon Ceramic Co., Ltd. in Hunan, which also has a subsidiary called Hunan Qianfeng New Materials Co., Ltd. They have built the first 100t/a PMS production line in China and have already put it into operation, which injects strong impetus into the development of our country's PMS industry.
