Silicone resin adhesive  
Silicone resin for iron, aluminum and tin and other metals of good bonding, glass and ceramic also easy bonding. Generally there is no need to pretreat these materials. However, if the substrate surface is mechanically cleaned such as sandblasting, it can improve the adhesion of the silicone resin to metal, especially to iron.
The adhesion of silicone resin to copper is poor, especially at high temperature aging, the oxide film on copper surface has obvious catalytic degradation of silicone resin. Attempts have been made to improve this by the surface treatment of copper. But it didn't work very well.
Silicone resin adhesive is mainly used for bonding metal and heat-resistant non-metallic materials, bonding parts can be used in the temperature range of -60-+1200℃, and fuel oil and oil resistance, with good fatigue strength. In this type of adhesive, in addition to the use of pure silicone resin, but also often use organic resin (such as epoxy, polyester, phenolic, etc.) copolymerized and rubber modified silicone adhesive, in order to obtain better room temperature bonding strength.
