Conductive additive

The composite made of liquid silicone rubber as insulating matrix and nano conductive carbon black particles as filling material has excellent electrical conductivity. The resistivity of the composite with different carbon black content is obtained through experimental tests. When the carbon black content is more than 4%, the better electrical conductivity can be obtained.

Heat conduction additive

Additive liquid silicone rubber is widely used in electronic and electrical industry because of its good thermal stability and thermal conductivity. As the heat dissipation material of electronic devices, liquid silicone rubber can effectively transfer heat, improve heat dissipation and prolong the service life of electronic devices. However, the thermal conductivity of liquid silicone rubber without thermal additives is very small and cannot be produced in industry. Commonly used thermal conductivity additives are Ag, Cu, Ca, Al2O3, AlN, BN and so on. The thermal conductivity of liquid silicone rubber can be affected by the type, content, particle distribution and surface modification of thermal conductivity additives.

Special functional additive

In addition to the additives mentioned above, it was found that F-sio2 delayed the occurrence of strong arc discharge and weak arc discharge on the surface of the liquid silicone rubber. The plasma irradiation resistance and tracking resistance of the liquid silicone rubber were obviously enhanced.
