Phenyl silicone oil is the product of methyl silicone oil in which part of the methyl group is replaced by phenyl, also known as methyl phenyl silicone oil. Mainly according to phenyl content and end group classification.

Its main applications:

1. Low phenyl silicone oil is especially suitable for places requiring high cold resistance;

2. Phenyl and high phenyl silicone oil has high thermal stability, and good radiation resistance, which can be used as heat treatment bath of metal products, high temperature heating oil, gas chromatography carrier, high and low temperature lubricating oil of electronic and electrical equipment, high temperature grease of bearing and other mechanical equipment;

3. Phenyl containing vinyl, hydroxyl, hydrogen and other reactive groups can be used to prepare high temperature and radiation resistant silicone rubber, can also be used as fabric waterproof agent, softener and other additives;

4. Phenyl silicone oil has good compatibility with cosmetics, because of the stability of heat and uv, can be used as cosmetic additives;

5. Using its high refractive index, high light transmittance, good thermal stability, radiation resistance and other characteristics, can be used as LED packaging material.
