MQ silicone resin is a kind of organic silicon resin with a relatively unique structure. It is generally believed that MQ silicone resin is a double-layer structure compact spherical body, in which the core is a cage-like SiO2 with a higher density and a polymerization degree of 15-50 connected by Si—O chains, and the spherical shell is a layer of R3SiO1/2 with a lower density. .

MQ silicone resin has many different types due to the different organic groups R on the spherical shell:

When R is all methyl, it is called methyl MQ silicone resin or MQ silicone resin for short; when part of R is H, it is called methyl hydrogen-containing MQ silicone resin; there are also methyl phenyl MQ silicone resin and vinyl MQ silicone resin. Silicone tree, phenyl MQ silicone resin, fluorine-containing MQ silicone resin, MDQ, MTQ silicone resin, etc. The performance of MQ silicone resin and its scope of application mainly depend on its synthesis process conditions and the type and number of organic groups in the molecule, that is, the ratio of the number of M chain links to Q chain links; the organic group R is mainly increased with other groups. The compatibility of the components plays a role in increasing the viscosity, and the SiO4/2 chain links mainly increase the strength of the composite material and play a reinforcing role.

Organosilicone adhesives are divided into adhesives based on silicone resin and adhesives based on room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber. The former is mainly used for bonding metal and heat-resistant non-metallic materials. The resulting adhesive can be -60- Used in the temperature range of 120℃; the latter is mainly used for bonding heat-resistant rubber, bonding rubber and metal, and bonding other non-metallic materials. Silicone resin is a cross-linked semi-inorganic polymer with silicon-oxygen-silicon as the main chain and organic groups connected to the silicon atom. It is made of polyfunctional silicone through hydrolysis and condensation. Under the action of a catalyst, it can be further transformed into an insoluble and infusible thermosetting resin with a three-dimensional structure. Silicone resins can be classified into methyl silicone resins, phenyl silicone resins, methyl phenyl silicone resins, etc. according to the different connecting groups on the silicon atoms.
