What is car crystal plating?

Crystal plating is a special coating for automobile, which is characterized by hardness. Automobile plating crystal is mainly used in automobile paint, glass, tire, wheel hub, seat, engine, interior decoration, exterior trim and so on.

There are three kinds of automobile crystal plating materials: polysiloxane (silicone), polysiloxane (PSZ), inorganic polysiloxane, which is slow drying type, can only be used on hard surfaces, such as leather interior decoration, which can't be used; polysiloxane, which is a military product, has high hardness and strong adhesion, so the paint surface is not applicable, and PSZ can be used for other products; inorganic silicon has a relatively high price at present, but the effect is obvious It can be used for the appearance of automobile, with the hardness up to 9h (the hardness of paint surface of ordinary automobile factory is 2-4h), but the inorganic silicon plating crystal must be carried out in the dust-free workshop, and the individual cannot DIY.

Advantages of automobile crystal plating
1. Increase brightness
Equivalent to an extra layer of mirror, the car body surface is more glossy and beautiful;

2. Prevent oxidation
Silicon ketone contains titanium oxide, which is the coating material of sunscreen and some outdoor equipment, and can form the anti-oxidation layer for up to 3 years;

3. Improve hardness
The hardness of the common factory paint is about 2-4h, and the hardness of the perfect inorganic crystal plating layer (silicon crystal surface) is as high as 7-9h;

4. No water mark
When water drips onto the plating layer, it will not be retained due to the dense nature of the surface, forming a water ball that drips by itself to prevent acid rain from corroding the paint.
