Room temperature curing silicone resins are methyl silicone IOTA950 and methyl-phenyl silicone IOTA1056, methyl silicone and methyl-phenyl silicone resins are usually divided into two types: classical thermosetting system, which is dried in the oven at high temperature to obtain its final film properties; The second is a new and universal room temperature curing system.
In classic thermosetting systems, physical drying is performed first, that is, the solvent spills out of the coating formulation. The heat applied then triggers chemical cross-linking of the resin molecules. In contrast, room temperature curing systems do not require the application of heat. Physical drying and chemical crosslinking occur simultaneously at room temperature.
Room temperature cured silicone resins are high in oxygen functional groups and the low molecular weight of the product results in a very low viscosity, so it is good for processing, such as spraying. In addition, this system has a very high active substance content, allowing the preparation of a high solid coating system with a very low VOC content.
In general, room temperature cured methyl silicone resin time is not suitable for most factory production, but high temperature cured silicone resin can be cured in a short time, more conducive to mechanized production.

This product has high and low temperature resistance and moisture resistance, electrical insulation, arc corona resistance, weather resistance and chemical stability. This product can be dried quickly at room temperature, high hardness (≥2H), high gloss, good fullness, high temperature does not yellowing. High temperature resistance grade.
Iota-1056 is widely used as base resin and H class insulating coating for high temperature resistant coatings (400~650℃) and coatings.

Curing mode:
This product can be quickly dried by finger press at room temperature.
This product is completely cured by high temperature baking at 250℃ for 30 minutes; 20 minutes at 270℃; 15 minutes at 280℃.
