In the process of lotion polymerization, organosilicon chains are introduced into the molecular structure of high molecular polymers. The common organosilicon precursor is silane coupling agent, such as silane coupling agent 171560570, etc. These silane coupling agents are trifunctional alkoxy structures. In the aqueous system, the alkoxy group is hydrolyzed to hydroxyl group, and the hydroxyl group is further dehydrated and condensed to form a cross-linked structure. When the degree of cross-linking is too large, the stability of lotion will be affected, As a result, gel can not be used, so there is a certain limit on the amount of silane coupling agent. Generally, the amount of silane coupling agent is 1~10%. The modification effect is not obvious when the amount is too small, and the stability of lotion is affected when the amount is too large. The amount limit determines that the effect of silicon modification is limited, even not obvious.
