First month online teaching operation report of China Pharmaceutical University
1、 Basic information of online teaching

Course offering
The teaching work of the second semester of 2019-2020 academic year of China Pharmaceutical University officially started on February 24. In the first month of school opening, according to the original teaching plan, there should be 1213 courses for the whole college, and 802 courses actually opened. Courses not opened online have applied for extension of offline courses according to relevant requirements. There are 774 courses for undergraduates and 28 courses for higher vocational education. There are 48 elective courses and 5623 students.

Class opening platform distribution
Taking full account of the actual needs of teachers and students in teaching and learning, we launched the "2 + 2 + n" online teaching support path, namely, two main teaching platforms (Superstar campus platform and China University MOOC platform), two information communication channels (QQ group and wechat group), and N auxiliary teaching apps (such as learning communication, rain class, Ali nail, welink video, Tencent classroom, etc.).

Curriculum and resource construction
As of March 24, with the teaching class as the unit, 802 theoretical compulsory course resources are all presented in the school platform, MOOC platform of China University, wisdom tree and other teaching platforms, and 778 teaching classes QQ group and wechat group have been established. 749 courses and 114421 uploaded resources were released on the platform of superstar University, 144776 classroom activities were conducted by teachers and students, 916632 learning tasks were completed by students, and 102052 assignments were completed; 84 courses were introduced on the platforms of MOOC and wisdom tree of China University, including 36 theoretical compulsory courses (60 times) and 48 elective courses.
2、 Spot check of online courses
During the period of online teaching, the school's teaching supervisors randomly checked the courses of each college, and checked 112 online teaching courses in total. Generally speaking, teachers put in a lot of time and energy to do a good job in teaching organization and preparation, teaching materials are complete, micro class videos, courseware and other contents are rich, forms are diverse, and online teaching is carried out orderly. Teachers interact with students and answer questions through course platform, wechat group or QQ group. Some common problems are also found, for example, teachers and students are not enough to adapt to online teaching methods, students' autonomy and investment in online learning are insufficient, there are sometimes network congestion, curriculum platform operation is not smooth, etc.
3、 Investigation on the operation of online teaching
(1) Basic information of investigation
In the first month of the school, the Academic Affairs Office issued two questionnaires to the students of the junior college, 3755 of which were collected in the first phase and 3966 in the second phase. A questionnaire on online teaching work was distributed to teachers, and 401 questionnaires were collected.

Online course resource construction and teaching preparation
The students' satisfaction with the teachers' timely online release of courseware, micro class video, references and other teaching materials preparation is 90.52%, the satisfaction with the teachers' timely notification of online teaching arrangement before class, orderly organization of online teaching is 85.28%, the satisfaction with the teachers' early arrangement of online learning objectives and requirements, and effective guidance of learning is 83.07%.

Online teaching method
77.56% of the students were satisfied with whether the teacher's teaching video or live broadcast was clear and focused. 91.84% of the students were satisfied with the teacher's online course platform, QQ group or wechat group.

Evaluation of teaching and learning effect
Most of the teachers are enthusiastic in teaching, focusing on transforming the cutting edge of science and technology into teaching content, closely integrating professional knowledge with ideological and political education, and case teaching throughout the classroom. 88.69% of the students were satisfied with the comprehensive evaluation of online teaching. But some students still need a certain process for online teaching, only 57.96% of them are satisfied with the effect of their online learning.

(2) A survey of teachers' online teaching

Online teaching tools
The survey shows that 61.1% of teachers use online course platform to teach, and 33.42% use online course platform + live broadcast to teach. Teachers use wechat group (59.6%), QQ group (56.61%), learning app (53.12%), Tencent Conference (10.22%) and other auxiliary information tools to communicate and interact with students. 93.52% of teachers suggest to promote their own information tools.

Evaluation of teaching and learning effect
Most teachers have been able to better use their own way to carry out online teaching, and establish an effective communication channel with students. Students' enthusiasm for learning has been gradually mobilized, and the teaching effect has been gradually improved. 84.5% of teachers think that their online teaching effect has achieved or basically achieved the expected teaching effect (67.33% of them basically achieved the expected effect), and 92.77% of teachers are satisfied or basically satisfied with students' online learning activities (47.38% of them are basically satisfied).

Attitude to online teaching
58.35% of the teachers are willing to continue to establish a learning exchange group between teachers and students, 44.39% of the teachers are willing to transform the teaching mode into online and offline hybrid teaching mode, 43.14% of them will continue to use online course platform to assist classroom teaching.

4、 Problems and solutions in online teaching
(1) Existing problems

Lack of flexibility in the teaching process and low participation of students
Limited by time and space factors, teaching platform and network conditions, teachers' teaching content and teaching methods are greatly challenged. The teaching form is relatively monotonous and inflexible. Students' conscious participation is also reduced. The overall satisfaction rate of students' self-assessment online learning effect is not high. If we can't fully understand and use online teaching tools, effectively solve the actual needs of students, and design the whole teaching process reasonably, the enthusiasm, initiative and participation of students' learning can't be well aroused, and the learning effect is also affected to a certain extent.

The use of technology platform restricts the effective development of teaching
The teaching platform has not yet fully played a greater role and function. First, the lack of hardware and technical conditions of the platform operation, platform jam, network congestion and other phenomena have been restricting the effective implementation of online teaching. Second, the proficiency of teachers and students in operation and use is not high, "technology and methods" need a certain amount of time to master. Nearly 35% of teachers think that it is necessary to carry out targeted training on the use function of curriculum platform, effective combination of curriculum platform and live broadcast, online and offline hybrid teaching design and other technical links.

Online teaching evaluation mechanism is not perfect
The difference of students' learning effect directly affects the assessment form, assessment content and assessment standard of teachers. How to redesign the teaching content and assessment method according to the online teaching rules and characteristics has become an important problem in the process of online teaching. The survey found that 47% of teachers are confused about "how to evaluate students' online learning achievements scientifically", and need relevant departments to carry out training on similar topics.
(2) Solutions

Further strengthen the cultivation of students' initiative and consciousness in learning
First, we need to change the teaching concept from "teaching first" to "learning first". Teachers should make clear the learning objectives and pay attention to the guidance of learning methods before class, and take the epidemic prevention and control period as the best period to cultivate students' conscious and active learning habits. Second, the teaching content should be updated in time, so as to select materials, follow the leading edge and build a good course. According to the actual needs of students, the whole process of online teaching should be designed reasonably, so as to enhance the vividness and richness of the teaching content and fully mobilize students' interest in learning and desire for knowledge. Third, schools, colleges and teachers should cooperate with each other, improve the process evaluation system, and design various online teaching assessment links. All staff, the whole process and all-round guidance of students' values, learning and growth.

We need to create a smart teaching environment,
Realizing the deep integration of information technology and teaching
Fully excavate and promote the practical application of information technology in education and teaching, teaching evaluation and student management, so as to free teachers from "methods and technologies". Vigorously expand and optimize resources, provide online services and technical support in many aspects, let resources and technology around teachers, and free teachers from the fatigue of technology application. Realize the intelligent teaching platform to accurately collect the whole process of online teaching state data, and conduct personalized analysis and evaluation of teaching elements.

Renew the idea of evaluation and innovate the mechanism of teaching evaluation
According to the characteristics of online teaching, such as spatial separation, time asynchrony, fragility of learning, low frequency of interaction between teachers and students, and easy diversion of students' learning attention, grass-roots teaching organizations should redesign the evaluation index system and implementation tools. Fully tap the value of teaching data to analyze the quality of classroom teaching with big data. Organize and carry out a series of communication activities to jointly explore the improvement strategies of online teaching.
