The Department of Stomatology is a large-scale, advanced and powerful Department of stomatology in Suzhou general hospital. It works closely with the stomatological expert team of Nanyi university to promote the comprehensive development of medical treatment, teaching and scientific research in the Department. Now it is the core member unit of the oral and maxillofacial surgery diagnosis and treatment alliance of the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Nanjing Medical University (Jiangsu stomatological hospital), and the unit of the Stomatological Education Alliance of Jiangsu Province. It undertakes the clinical practice teaching of the undergraduates majoring in stomatology of Nanjing Medical University, Lanzhou University and the junior college students majoring in stomatology of Suzhou Vocational and Technical College of health.
The Department has 17 specialists, including 1 chief physician, 2 deputy chief physicians, 2 attending physicians and 12 residents; among them, 2 have doctor's degree and 11 master's degree; published 2 SCI papers and more than 10 Chinese articles, presided over and participated in a number of scientific research projects. In the outpatient department, there are 29 dental comprehensive treatment chairs, special dental implant operating room, oral comfort treatment room, and 10 open beds in the ward; there are Newcom oral CBCT, Leica oral microscope, litouch oral laser, kava panoramic machine and dental film machine, wh implant machine, setley ultrasonic bone knife, high-frequency electric knife, painless anesthesia instrument, VDW root canal length meter, densbergen Tube motor, BL hot gum filling instrument and other high-end equipment.
The Department has a complete set of dental sub specialties, strong technical force, standardized development of oral and maxillofacial surgery, dental implant department, Stomatology (including dental pulp disease, periodontal disease, children's oral disease, oral mucosal disease, oral prevention), dental repair department and orthodontics. Among them, children's oral treatment under general anesthesia, comfortable oral treatment, children's muscle function correction, invisible correction technology, micro root canal treatment, micro apical surgery, digital oral repair, orthognathic surgery and other advanced characteristics.
