In recent years, polyether modified polysiloxane has become a hot research topic at home and abroad. Through the graft modification of hydrophilic polyether, polysiloxane can be endowed with water solubility. It has excellent properties such as high temperature resistance, low aging resistance and low surface tension of traditional polysiloxane. It also has [1] such as lubrication, softness, good spreading and emulsifying stability. Therefore, it has broad application prospects in cosmetics, textile finishing agents, spinning oil and defoamer products. 。








The common polysiloxane defoamer has low surface energy, strong hydrophobicity and poor miscibility with other organics, so its application effect in aqueous system is particularly poor. For example, under high shear and high temperature conditions such as jet dyeing, the common polysiloxane defoamer will produce film like precipitate and make the dye spots. Polyether modified polysiloxane can be dispersed and emulsified in water due to the introduction of hydrophilic polyether chain segment, which has high emulsion stability and inverse solubility, so it is suitable for high temperature and high pressure liquid flow dyeing process [2]. Therefore, in recent years, the application of polyether modified polysiloxane in defoamer has been paid more and more attention. In this experiment, high hydrogen silicone oil was used as the raw material, and low hydrogen silicone oil was prepared by the method of polycondensation. At the same time, propylene alcohol was used as the starting agent, NaOH as the catalyst, and the ring opening copolymerization of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide was carried out to prepare allylic polyoxyalkylene ether. Then allylic polyoxyalkylene ether was used to graft low hydrogen silicone oil to obtain polyether modified polysiloxane. Then the defoamer was prepared.

1.1 main raw materials






Dimethylcyclosiloxane mixture (DMC): high hydrogen silicone oil: active hydrogen content is 1.60%, Quzhou Kailin Chemical Co., Ltd;






Hexamethyldisiloxane (mm): purity ≥ 99%, ethylene oxide, propylene oxide: industrial products, Hangzhou electrochemical group;






Methyl glucoside sestearate (SS), polyoxyethylene ether (sse-20): industrial products; fumed silica: industrial products
