Polydimethylsiloxane can be mixed with lanolin, stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, glycerol monostearate, Tween, Span and other surfactants to be used as emulsion base. Adding film-forming agents such as PVP, PVA and cellulose derivatives to this product can enhance its protective properties. The drug release and skin penetration properties are faster than porpoise, lanolin and petrolatum.

cosmetic:

It has the functions of anti-foaming, defoaming and anti-foaming, and prevents the phenomenon of "whitening" when applying the product. Different products need to choose different viscosity. The higher the viscosity, the more oily it is, and the lower viscosity gives the skin a dry feeling. Due to its depositability, it is used in low levels in cosmetic formulations. The properties of the product can be adjusted by compounding with different viscosity grades of polydimethylsiloxane.

Release agent:
Polydimethylsiloxane can be used as a release agent for rubber or plastic products (brake plates, screw heads, plugs, etc.), EVA shoe materials, directly or diluted 10-200 times with low-hardness water. Stable and extremely versatile.
Lubricant:
Polydimethylsiloxane can be used as a lubricant for extruding rubber products such as conveyor belts. It can be used as a lubricant in the following textile processes: yarn weaving, lubrication of sutures, production of socks and underwear, lubrication of sewing needles, fiberglass filters.
