Silicone coating using process

Hits: 579 img

Customers often ask about the use of silicone coatings and the differences between different methods.

Silicone coating can be applied in three common ways:
1. Dipping: Coating is performed using an automatic or manually controlled robotic arm that holds the device and dips it into a dipping tank filled with silicone. With the help of automatic system, the time of dip coating, stay and take out can be controlled programmatically. It is suitable for batch industrial production, and can ensure the coating thickness and production efficiency of most products.
2. Spray: Use a spray can or gun to spray the layer. Due to the fast coating speed, spraying is suitable for mass production. The efficiency of mass production can be improved by using robot spraying technology.
3. Brush: It is used to manually brush the surface of the parts with the silicone resin. Brush coating is often used for small batch production, rework and maintenance.
For example, our company's characteristic products: polysilazane can be applied to various types of substrate by daubing, dipping, spraying, brush coating and other construction methods. The substrate category is not limited to metal, alloy, glass, paint film and plastic (such as PP, PC, PVC, PMMA), etc.
