Thermal spraying method     

Thermal spraying technology is one of the effective methods for preparing nanostructured ceramic processes. At present, thermal spraying technology has differentiated into many types in the process of market demand and technological development (see Table 1). Among them, arc spraying materials require conductivity, while plasma spraying can spray the vast majority of materials with high automation, making it the best choice for spraying high melting point ceramic materials.  

The theoretical foundation of thermal spraying technology is relatively well-developed both domestically and internationally, and it is also widely used in industrial applications. At the beginning of the 21st century, the United States Navy used a revolutionary new coating - nanostructured thermal spray ceramic coating. It has passed various inspections and trials, obtained the application certificate of the United States Navy, and is widely used in nearly a hundred components of warships, submarines, minesweepers, and aircraft carrier equipment. This is the first time that nanostructured thermal spray coatings have been practically applied.
