Product characteristics
Solubility: Good solubility, easy to mix or dilute with other substances in different application scenarios.
Curing time: Short curing time can improve construction efficiency and shorten project cycle.
Curing method: There are various curing methods that can adapt to different construction conditions and application requirements.
Adhesion: It has good adhesion to various substrates such as metals, ceramics, and polymer materials, and can firmly adhere to the surface of objects, providing long-lasting protection.
Conversion performance: It can be converted to SiO ₂ at lower temperatures, forming a high-performance silicon dioxide coating.
Technical Parameter
Appearance: It is a colorless and transparent liquid that does not significantly affect the appearance of the coated object, and can maintain the original color and transparency of the object.
Solid content: usually 20%, can be adjusted to 2% -20% according to customer needs during packaging.
Solvent: Generally n-butanol, xylene, dibutyl ether, or dichloromethane can also be used for packaging.
Density: The density of liquid is 1.16-1.31g/ml, and the density after solidification is 1.6-2.0g/ml.
Coating performance
Composition: The main component is SiOx, which has good chemical stability and physical properties.
Coating thickness: greater than 100nm, providing sufficient protective thickness to effectively resist external environmental erosion.
Hardness: Ammonia curing can reach 3GPa, while high-temperature curing can reach 8-10 GPa.
Elastic modulus: 60 GPa for ammonia curing and 100-130 GPa for high-temperature curing.
Pencil hardness: The Chinese pencil test is 9H, and the Mitsubishi pencil test is 6H, both of which have high hardness and can effectively prevent scratches on the surface of objects.
Transparency: Transparency greater than 90% in the visible light range, with good optical performance.
Adhesion: The scratch test results in a level of 0, indicating extremely strong adhesion.
Temperature resistance: It can withstand high temperatures of up to 800 degrees Celsius in air and has good high-temperature resistance performance.
Corrosion resistance: Strong in rust prevention, alkali resistance, and salt water resistance, but weak in acid resistance (10% hydrochloric acid), usually around one month.
Construction and Storage
Construction method: Before construction, the surface of the substrate needs to be cleaned. Construction methods such as spin coating, rubbing coating, spraying, and immersion coating can be used, followed by curing at room temperature or high temperature.
Cleaning method: After use, quickly wipe and clean the tool with acetone or solvent oil. Once IOTA PHPS solidifies, the solvent cannot be washed away.
Storage period: The unopened coating material IOTA PHPS has a shelf life of one year; After opening, under sealed and low-temperature drying conditions, the shelf life is more than six months.
Attention: When using, it must be done in a ventilated and dry environment, and necessary protective measures such as gloves, masks, and goggles should be taken; Do not place uncured IOTA PHPS near sources of fire, humid air, or water, and consult relevant personnel for waste liquid treatment.
