In terms of ceramic precursors, organic polysilazane also shows great potential. When heated to a minimum of 450°C, it can ultimately be converted into inorganic ceramic (SiOx). This ceramic has extremely high hardness and ultra-high heat resistance, providing new avenues for the preparation of ceramic-based composites and metal-based composites.
In addition, organic polysilazane has a wide range of applications in adhesives, composite materials, and other fields. It can form cold-mixed compounds with most resins that do not react with it, and through regulation and modification, it can also endow coatings with various properties or functionalities.
