July 7, 2025 – Anhui Aiyota Silicone Oil Co., Ltd. introduced IOTA 9608, a non-ionic O/W silicone elastomer suspension engineered to elevate skincare, suncare, color cosmetics, and haircare products through spherical microsphere structure and advanced texture optimization. This suspension, featuring inner-phase spherical dimethicone crosspolymer microspheres, delivers silky, powdery, and non-greasy skin feel, positioning it as a premium raw material for aqueous personal care formulations.
IOTA 9608’s key strengths lie in its water-based compatibility and texture innovation. The milky viscous liquid boasts 62-68% solid content, pH 5.0-7.5, and centrifugal stability (2500rpm*15min) <0.5ml, ensuring uniform dispersion and long-term formula stability. Suitable for room-temperature processing, it integrates easily into water phases or via post-addition with medium-shear mixing, streamlining production. Its unique microsphere structure reduces system viscosity, imparting a dry, silky texture while enhancing oil control and wrinkle-blurring effects.
Applications span all personal care categories: 0.5-6% addition in haircare improves combability and volume; 10-20% in skincare/suncare enhances emulsion freshness and film-forming; 30-70% in color cosmetics boosts powderiness and wear resistance. Optimal results are achieved with volatile cyclomethicones or low-viscosity silicones. Natural thickening during storage is reversible via gentle stirring, ensuring ease of use.
Leveraging precision dispersion technology at its Bengbu facility, Aiyota has scaled production of IOTA 9608, available in 20Kg/200Kg plastic drums. Classified as non-hazardous with a 12-month shelf life, the product has passed skin irritation testing and is available for global orders. "IOTA 9608 combines silicone elastomer performance with aqueous system compatibility, offering brand clients a solution balancing efficacy and process adaptability," noted Aiyota’s Technical Director, empowering the creation of differentiated personal care products.
