IOTA 9150K is a liquid organopolysilazane engineered for room-temperature curing coating systems. Featuring unique Si-NH-Si bonds, it enables rapid curing via hydrolysis and oxidation at ambient temperature, eliminating the need for high-temperature treatments. Its reactive groups strongly interact with substrate surface -OH groups, delivering exceptional adhesion to metals, alloys, glass, and plastics (e.g., PP, PC, PVC, PMMA), achieving Class 0 adhesion by cross-cut test.
Key advantages include: low viscosity for versatile application methods (brushing, dipping, spraying, coating); fast surface drying with adjustable curing time; and 3D cross-linked structure formation with catalyst addition, resulting in 9H hardness, superior oxidation/corrosion resistance, and excellent solvent resistance (against alcohols, ketones, etc.). Post-curing, the material is non-flammable with a water contact angle of 105°, ensuring easy cleaning via low surface tension.
