Recently, a hydrophilic super hard stain resistant nano-coating material named IOTA PHPS has garnered significant attention in the market. This product, primarily composed of perhydropolysilazane, offers outstanding solubility and curing characteristics, providing high-performance coating solutions across multiple industries.
IOTA PHPS boasts remarkable product features, including short curing times, diverse curing methods, excellent adhesion to metals, ceramics, and polymer materials, as well as the ability to convert into SiO2 at lower temperatures, demonstrating superior chemical stability and durability. Its technical parameters indicate that it is a colorless transparent liquid with a solid content of 20% and a solvent of n-butyl ether, with liquid and cured densities within reasonable ranges.
Regarding curing mechanisms, IOTA PHPS primarily cures through the hydrolysis of Si-N bonds, with flexible curing conditions including ambient temperature curing and moisture curing. In terms of coating performance, the product forms an SiOx coating with a thickness exceeding 100nm, hardness up to 9H (Chinese standard) or 6H (Mitsubishi standard), elastic modulus, transparency, adhesion, and temperature resistance all performing excellently.
In applications, IOTA PHPS is widely used in anti-graffiti coatings for buildings, precious metal corrosion prevention, rail transit, semiconductor insulation layers, electronic circuits, plastic packaging for gas and moisture resistance, metal high-temperature oxidation resistance, and surface hardening coatings, among others. Product packaging is customized according to customer needs, with diverse construction methods and straightforward cleaning procedures.
Regarding shelf life, unopened products have a shelf life of 6 months and can continue to be used after passing quality inspections beyond the expiration date. Necessary protective measures and a ventilated, dry environment are required during usage.
