It has low viscosity and excellent adhesion, and can be applied to various substrates including metals, alloys, glass, paint films, and plastics through methods such as brushing, dipping, spraying, and rolling. IOTA 9283 can cure at room temperature with a short curing time and diverse curing methods. After curing, it forms a three-dimensional cross-linked structure, imparting good mechanical properties to the material. Additionally, due to its fluorine-containing groups, IOTA 9283 exhibits outstanding hydrophobicity, with a colorless and transparent coating and a light transmittance >95%.

In terms of applications, IOTA 9283 is widely used in coatings, adhesives, non-combustible composites, polymer-based composites, glass and abrasive tool fields, as well as in areas requiring hydrophobicity and low surface tension for easy cleaning. Its technical parameters are also impressive, such as an appearance ranging from colorless transparent to light yellow liquid, a molecular weight of 900-1000, a purity of 10% (other contents can be customized), a density of 0.68g/cm³, and a viscosity of 2cp-5cp.
