IOTA ST4 High-Temp Waterborne Nano Ceramic Coating with 9H Hardness, Setting Industry Benchmark

July 2025 – Anhui Iota Silicone Oil Co., Ltd. officially launches IOTA ST4, a high-temperature waterborne nano ceramic coating. Boasting 9H hardness, 900°C heat resistance, and an all-aqueous eco-friendly formula, this product redefines performance standards for premium protective coatings, suitable for metal, glass, ceramic, and wood furniture surfaces.

As a high-gloss topcoat, IOTA ST4 is a colorless transparent liquid with 35% solid content, featuring a pure water solvent system free of alcohols/esters. It emits zero formaldehyde or benzene-based toxins during application, ensuring complete safety. Its key innovation lies in specialized formulation: 9H pencil hardness, 0-class adhesion (per GB/T 9286), acid/alkali resistance, scratch resistance, and anti-graffiti properties. The cured transparent coating offers long-lasting dust, oil, and stain resistance. Notably, its 900°C heat tolerance enables use as a fire-retardant coating on wood, enhancing safety in high-temperature environments.

Application is versatile, supporting brushing, pouring, spin-coating, and rolling, with optimal performance at <10μm dry film thickness. Curing options include ambient drying (30-minute tack-free, 7-day full cure) or thermal curing (150°C for 10 minutes initial cure to 5-8H, 3 hours for full 9H hardness), meeting rapid production needs. Packaged in 25kg plastic drums or 200kg iron drums, it stores at 5-35°C in cool, dry conditions with a 6-month shelf life and non-hazardous transport classification.
