IOTA ST2 Waterborne Nano High-Hardness Self-Cleaning Coating: Ushering in a New Era of Self-Cleaning

Recently, IOTA has officially launched its innovative creation—IOTA ST2 Waterborne Nano High-Hardness Self-Cleaning Coating. This colorless and transparent liquid coating has sparked a new wave of enthusiasm in the coating market with its outstanding self-cleaning properties and high-hardness characteristics.

IOTA ST2 utilizes advanced nano-coating preparation technology, incorporating nano-scale materials that effectively reduce surface tension when applied to substrate surfaces. Under the action of UV and visible light, it generates hydroxyl radicals, exhibiting strong catalytic degradation and self-cleaning functions. It not only efficiently decomposes various surface oil stains, kills bacteria, and decomposes toxins released by bacteria or fungi, but also possesses functions such as formaldehyde removal, odor elimination, anti-fouling, and air purification.

In terms of applications, IOTA ST2 coating is widely used for antioxidant, waterproof, and anti-fouling treatments on metal surfaces, as well as hydrophobic, anti-fouling, and UV-resistant coatings on glass surfaces, and waterproof, anti-fouling, and anti-corrosion treatments on ceramic and stone surfaces. Its construction operation is simple and convenient, with rapid surface drying after normal temperature spraying or dipping and pulling, and stable performance after curing.

Regarding performance characteristics, IOTA ST2 coating exhibits excellent hydrophobic properties after full curing, with a water contact angle exceeding 100 degrees and a hardness of up to 8H. It also boasts high transparency, residue-free application, antibacterial and deodorizing effects, and high-temperature resistance. The treated object surface forms a high-density, stable nano-superhydrophobic transparent ceramic coating with a hardness of up to 8H, effectively enhancing the object's self-cleaning and dust-proof capabilities, bringing more convenience to people's lives, and extending the service life of related products.

Currently, IOTA ST2 coating is packaged in 25kg plastic buckets or 200kg iron drums, with a shelf life of six months. The launch of this innovative coating undoubtedly injects new vitality into the coating market, leading the way in a new era of self-cleaning coatings.
