Recently, IOTA has officially launched its innovative product—IOTA 9150K Organic Polysilazane, a liquid organic polysilazane specially designed for room-temperature curing coating systems. With its unique properties and wide range of applications, IOTA 9150K has garnered widespread attention in the coating market.

IOTA 9150K contains Si-NH-Si bonds, enabling it to cure at room temperature through hydrolysis and oxidation reactions, forming a strong bond with the substrate surface. Its low viscosity and good adhesion allow it to be applied via various methods such as coating, dipping, spraying, and brushing on a wide range of substrates including metals, alloys, glass, paint films, and plastics. Due to its high reactivity, most products sold are 50% content, with customers able to add solvents as needed.

IOTA 9150K boasts characteristics such as low viscosity, short surface drying time, diverse curing methods, non-flammability after curing, antioxidant and corrosion resistance, and easy cleaning. It is suitable for applications in coatings, adhesives, non-combustible composite materials, and more. Technical parameters include an appearance of colorless transparent to light yellow liquid, a moderate molecular weight, customizable purity, density, and viscosity within industry standards. After curing, it exhibits high hardness, a stable hydrophobic angle between 100°-105°, a light transmittance exceeding 95%, and a metal adhesion rating of 0.

Currently, IOTA 9150K is packaged in 100ml, 1L, and 5L metal drums for convenient transportation and storage. During use, attention should be paid to storing it in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated environment away from heat sources and flames.
