Recently, IOTA officially launched its newly developed water-based nano high-hardness self-cleaning coating — IOTA ST1. Utilizing advanced nanotechnology and an organosilicon system, this product offers excellent hydrophobicity, anti-pollution, self-cleaning, and high-hardness properties, making it ideal for surface treatment on various substrates such as metal, glass, ceramics, stone, and photovoltaic panels.
Once cured, IOTA ST1 forms a transparent, high-hardness (up to 8H), superhydrophobic nano-ceramic coating with a water contact angle exceeding 100 degrees. Dust and oil contaminants can naturally slide off with water droplets, achieving long-term self-cleaning performance. In addition, the nano titanium dioxide contained in the coating generates hydroxyl radicals under light exposure, enabling antibacterial, formaldehyde-decomposing, deodorizing, and air-purifying functions.
The coating is easy to apply via spraying or dipping, and can be rapidly cured under either ambient or heated conditions. As a water-based product, it is environmentally friendly with no residue left behind. IOTA ST1 also demonstrates exceptional water resistance, high-temperature tolerance, and weatherability, ensuring long-term stability in harsh environments.
IOTA is committed to promoting green technology in both industrial and daily life applications. The launch of IOTA ST1 not only enhances surface functionality but also provides a new solution for energy conservation and environmental protection.
