Recently, IOTA, a leading nanomaterials company, officially launched its latest innovation — the water-based nano high-hardness self-cleaning coating IOTA ST1. Utilizing advanced nano-organic silicone technology, this product features exceptional hydrophobicity, antibacterial properties, self-cleaning capabilities, and high hardness, making it ideal for surface treatments on various substrates such as metal, glass, ceramics, stone, and photovoltaic modules.
IOTA ST1 is a milky liquid coating that is easy to apply and can be cured at room temperature or rapidly hardened with low-temperature heating, forming a transparent, super-hydrophobic, and high-hardness nano-ceramic film. With a pencil hardness of up to 8H and a water contact angle exceeding 100 degrees, the coating offers excellent light transmittance and weather resistance. Under UV light, nano-titanium dioxide in the coating generates hydroxyl radicals, effectively decomposing oils, bacteria, and harmful substances like formaldehyde, delivering long-lasting self-cleaning and air-purifying functions.
Environmentally friendly and residue-free, IOTA ST1 also demonstrates strong water-boiling resistance and thermal stability up to 200°C, making it suitable for applications in photovoltaic glass, architectural facades, transportation vehicles, and outdoor equipment. The product has passed multiple performance tests and supports both spray and dip-coating methods, meeting diverse industrial and consumer needs.
IOTA remains committed to advancing green surface treatment technologies, and the launch of IOTA ST1 marks a significant milestone in the development of functional nano-coatings, driving sustainable growth in the industry.
