The coatings technology sector has witnessed a major breakthrough with the official launch of the new high-temperature water-based nano ceramic coating IOTA ST4, which sets new industry benchmarks for industrial protective coatings with its exceptional heat resistance and environmental performance.

IOTA ST4 is a high-gloss water-based nano ceramic coating specifically designed for topcoat applications, utilizing revolutionary special processes and advanced formulation technology. Most notably, it offers remarkable high-temperature resistance—capable of withstanding extreme temperatures up to 900°C—making it an effective fireproof coating when applied to wood surfaces and providing the construction and furniture industries with a new safety protection solution.

As an environmentally friendly water-based coating, IOTA ST4 releases no harmful gases such as formaldehyde or benzene during application, fully protecting the health and safety of both applicators and end users. With 35% solid content, the coating achieves 9H hardness (Chinese pencil hardness standard) and offers excellent acid and alkali resistance after curing. It also features superior wear resistance, scratch resistance, and anti-graffiti functionality, combined with multi-layer protection including dustproof, oil-resistant, and anti-pollution characteristics for comprehensive long-term substrate protection.

IOTA ST4 delivers outstanding technical specifications: optimal coating performance is achieved when dry film thickness is controlled below 10 microns, with adhesion reaching grade 0 standards. The product supports multiple coating methods including brushing, flow coating, spin coating, and roller coating for convenient operation. It offers flexible curing options—either natural curing (surface dry in 30 minutes, fully cured in 7 days) or thermal curing (150°C, preliminary curing in 10 minutes, full curing with 9H hardness in 3 hours).

Available in 25kg plastic drums or 200kg steel drums, the product requires storage in cool, dry environments at 5-35°C, transported as non-hazardous goods with a 6-month shelf life, providing users with safe and convenient storage and transportation assurance.
