Launch of IOTA ST2 Water-Based Nano High-Hardness Self-Cleaning Coating Ushers in a New Era of Surface Protection

Recently, a new water-based nano high-hardness self-cleaning coating named IOTA ST2 has been officially launched, featuring advanced nanotechnology that delivers exceptional hydrophobicity, antibacterial properties, self-cleaning capabilities, and high surface hardness. The product is suitable for a wide range of substrates, including metals, glass, ceramics, stone, and photovoltaic panels.

IOTA ST2 is a colorless and transparent liquid that is easy to apply, offering both ambient and heat-curing options. The cured coating achieves a hardness of up to 8H, excellent transparency, and superior water-repellent performance with a water contact angle exceeding 100 degrees, allowing water droplets to roll off without leaving marks. The nano titanium dioxide component activates under light to generate reactive oxygen species, enabling the decomposition of oils, formaldehyde removal, and antibacterial deodorization, significantly improving surface durability and cleanliness.

Environmentally friendly and residue-free, IOTA ST2 also demonstrates strong heat resistance, remaining stable at temperatures up to 200°C. It is especially suitable for outdoor applications such as photovoltaic glass and architectural curtain walls, greatly enhancing self-cleaning performance and service life. The coating can be applied via spraying or dip-coating methods, making it ideal for anti-fouling, anti-corrosion, and anti-condensation applications.

The launch of IOTA ST2 marks a significant advancement in the functionality and practicality of water-based nano coatings, promising broad applications across industries such as renewable energy, construction, and transportation.
