Recently, a liquid material named Organic Polysilazane IOTA 9150K has drawn attention in the coating and related industries. Designed specifically for room-temperature-curing coating systems, it offers innovative solutions for numerous fields with its unique properties.

IOTA 9150K features Si - NH - Si bonds, enabling it to cure at room temperature. The curing process mainly involves the hydrolysis and oxidation of Si - NH - Si. Meanwhile, the Si - NH - Si bonds can readily react with the -OH groups on the surface of the substrate, resulting in good adhesion to the substrate. With the addition of an appropriate catalyst, the reaction between Si - H and Si - NH - Si can be promoted, and the resin forms a three-dimensional cross-linked structure upon curing, endowing the material with excellent mechanical properties.

This material has low viscosity and good adhesion. It can be applied to various substrates such as metals, alloys, glass, paint films, and plastics (e.g., PP, PC, PVC, PMMA) through multiple methods including coating, dip-coating, spraying, and brushing. Moreover, it has a short surface-drying time, diverse curing methods, and is non-flammable after curing. It also offers antioxidant, anti-corrosion, and easy-to-clean properties, with strong adhesion to metals and ceramics.

Notably, due to its extremely high activity, most of the products sold in the market are 50% concentration, and customers can add solvents according to their needs. In terms of applications, IOTA 9150K has a wide range of uses, including coatings, adhesives, non-combustible composite materials, polymer-based composite materials, glass and abrasive tool fields, as well as areas requiring low surface tension for easy cleaning.
