IOTA 9283 is a liquid polysilazane with methyl and fluorine-modified groups, engineered for room-temperature curing hydrophobic coating systems. Its unique Si-NH-Si bonds enable rapid ambient curing (via hydrolysis and oxidation), with optional catalysts accelerating Si-H/Si-NH-Si crosslinking to form a 3D network, delivering high hardness (6H pencil hardness) and excellent mechanical properties. Fluorine groups provide superior hydrophobicity (water contact angle >115°) while maintaining colorless transparency (transmittance >95%), redefining easy-clean protection material standards.

Key advantages include low viscosity (<100 mPa·s at 25℃) for excellent flow, enabling application via brushing, dipping, spraying on metals, alloys, glass, paint films, and plastics (PP, PC, PVC, PMMA), achieving 0-class adhesion (cross-cut test) to solve difficult substrate bonding challenges; short curing time (24h ambient/2h at 80℃) boosts productivity; superior oxidation/corrosion resistance (1000h salt spray test, 8000h QUV aging without chalking) for long-term substrate protection.

Widely applied in hydrophobic coatings (architectural glass anti-fouling, automotive paint rainproofing, electronics waterproofing), adhesives (metal-plastic bonding), non-flammable composites, polymer matrix composites, and low surface tension easy-clean coatings for glass/abrasives. Its transparency makes it ideal for optical components (lenses, displays) without compromising light transmission.

User-friendly with non-polar solvent dilution, non-flammable cured film, and -60~200℃ temperature resistance. Packaged in 1L/5L/20L sealed metal drums (100% solids), 6-month unopened shelf life, requiring dry storage to avoid hydrolysis.
