IOTA 9108 is a liquid polysilazane with repeating Si-N units, dual-functional as thermosetting resin and ceramic precursor. It converts to SiCN ceramic resistant to 1500℃ via pyrolysis under mild conditions, offering a revolutionary solution for high-temperature material preparation. With low viscosity (<500 mPa·s at 25℃), it enables versatile processing (impregnation, spraying, brushing) and bonds strongly to metals, ceramics, graphite (>2.0MPa adhesion),adhesion challenges of traditional high-temperature materials.

  • Flexible & Efficient Curing: Supports thermal (120-180℃), UV curing, etc., with short curing time (2-5h). Thermal crosslinkers further reduce temperature and cycle time, boosting productivity.
  • High Ceramic Yield & Temperature Resistance: 85% ceramic yield, forming dense SiCN structure stable at 1500℃ with excellent oxidation resistance (<3% weight loss at 1000℃ in air).

  • High-Temperature Adhesives: Bonds metal-ceramic joints with >80% shear strength retention at 1200℃, suitable for high-temperature furnace assembly.

Usage & Storage

Dilutable with alkane/ether solvents; avoid water, alcohols, acids/bases. Packaged in 1L/5L/20L sealed drums, 6-month unopened shelf life, >2-month post-opening life under 0-5℃ storage.
