Their products have gradually gained a foothold in the domestic market and begun to expand into the international market, with good performance in application fields such as coatings and ceramic precursors.
Current status of production technology
Traditional craftsmanship:
It is more common to produce polysilazane by polymerizing organic compounds containing silicon and nitrogen elements at high temperature, high pressure, and under the action of specific catalysts. For example, using chlorosilane and ammonia as raw materials, in a certain organic solvent environment, suitable catalysts are used to gradually construct the silicon nitrogen main chain structure through multiple reactions, and finally generate polysilazane. However, this process may have relatively harsh reaction conditions, high equipment requirements, and the production process may produce some by-products that need to be properly handled.
There is also a method of ring opening polymerization using silicon nitrogen ring compounds as raw materials, which promotes the opening of silicon nitrogen ring compounds through heating, adding initiators, and other means, and then connects them to form polysilazane polymers. However, this process requires precise control of reaction conditions to ensure the selectivity of the ring opening reaction and the molecular weight distribution of the polymerization product meets the requirements.
