Usage environment
Good urban road conditions: If the vehicle is mainly driven on flat urban roads without any bottoming or scratching, and the environment is dry and free of corrosive substances such as acid, alkali, and salt, the ceramic coated chassis is less susceptible to external damage and can have a service life of 10 to 15 years.
Adverse road conditions and environments: Vehicles are often driven on roads with many potholes and stones, or used in coastal areas, acid rain prone areas, and humid and dusty environments. The chassis is susceptible to stone strikes, corrosion, friction, etc., which can cause premature damage to the ceramic coating. The service life may only be 5 to 7 years. If vehicles are frequently driven on construction sites or in environments with high dust and sharp objects, the service life may be even shorter.
Materials and Construction Quality
High quality materials and professional construction: High quality ceramic coating materials are used, combined with professional construction processes. For example, the chassis surface is cleaned before construction, the coating is sprayed evenly, the thickness is appropriate, the coating is firmly combined with the chassis, and can effectively resist external erosion and impact. The service life can be up to 10 years or more.
Poor quality materials and non-standard construction: The use of poor quality ceramic coating materials, or the presence of incomplete surface treatment, bubbles in the coating, and uneven thickness during construction, can reduce the performance and adhesion of the coating, leading to premature peeling, cracking, etc. The service life may only be 5 to 8 years.
Vehicle usage and maintenance status
Reasonable use and regular maintenance: Car owners have good driving habits, do not frequently brake or accelerate abruptly, avoid chassis collisions and scratches, and regularly check the ceramic coating of the chassis. If small damage is found, it should be repaired in a timely manner. Regularly cleaning the chassis to keep it clean can extend the service life of the ceramic coating, which can reach more than 10 years.
Improper use and lack of maintenance: If the chassis is frequently overloaded or driven at high speeds, causing excessive pressure and impact, or if the chassis is not cleaned for a long time, allowing stains and corrosive substances to adhere, and if problems are not checked and maintained regularly, they may accelerate the damage to the ceramic coating, and the service life may be shortened to 5 to 7 years.
