Construction Technology of Organic Silicon High Temperature and Anti Corrosion Paint

Preparation before construction
Surface treatment:
Oil removal: Use solvents to scrub the grease on metal surfaces, or clean with acid or alkali solutions. After removal, rinse with clean water to remove residual solution.
Rust removal: Sandblasting the steel surface to achieve Sa2.5 rust removal standard, thoroughly removing oxide scale, rust, impurities, etc. If manual rust removal is used, it must reach St3 level.
Roughness treatment: Make the surface roughness of the substrate reach 30-50 μ m, providing a good foundation for coating adhesion.
Environmental inspection: The construction environment temperature should be controlled between 5-40 ℃, the air humidity should be less than 80%, and the substrate temperature should be 3 ℃ above the dew point.
Material preparation: Check whether the coating is within its shelf life and whether there are any lumps, precipitates, or other phenomena. Two component or multi-component coatings should be proportioned according to the manufacturer's specified ratio, such as 18.5 kg for component A and 1.5 kg for component B, and special diluents should be prepared.
Coating construction
Paint mixing: Mix the paint thoroughly and evenly. If the paint is too thick, a special diluent can be used for dilution. When using airless spraying, the amount of diluent used is about 5% of the weight of the coating; Air spraying is about 15% -20%; Brush coating is about 10% -15%.
Primer coating: It is recommended to use spraying technology to apply 1-2 layers of primer, so that the film thickness can reach 80 μ m. Ensure that the primer evenly covers the surface of the substrate, without any omissions, sagging, or other phenomena.
Topcoat coating: After the primer surface dries, apply the topcoat coating. Generally, two coats of topcoat are sprayed to achieve the specified film thickness, such as 50 μ m. During construction, pay attention to controlling the distance and angle between the spray gun and the workpiece to ensure uniform and smooth coating.
Drying and solidification
Natural drying: After application, it can be naturally dried at room temperature for a period of time, such as 0.5-1 hour.
Baking and drying: After drying at room temperature, place the workpiece in an oven at 180-220 ℃ for baking. For example, Xinwei high-temperature resistant paint can be dried at 210-220 ℃ for 40 minutes.
Post construction inspection
Appearance inspection: The coating should be smooth and even, with uniform color, and no shrinkage, bubbles, sagging, or missed coating.
Thickness detection: Use a thickness gauge to measure the coating thickness and ensure that it meets the specified film thickness requirements.
Adhesion testing: Coating adhesion can be tested using methods such as grid crossing, and should comply with relevant standards and requirements.
