This liquid polysilazane, featuring vinyl as its primary functional group, is poised to revolutionize the coatings, adhesives, and composites sectors with its exceptional high-temperature resistance, versatile application adaptability, and superior material compatibility.
Engineered with a unique silicon-nitrogen molecular structure, IOTA 9118 appears as a pale yellow transparent liquid at room temperature with a low viscosity of 10-40 cp, enabling easy application via brushing, dipping, spraying, or coating. A standout feature is its strong adhesion to diverse substrates, including metals, alloys, glass, paint films, and plastics (e.g., PP, PC, PVC, PMMA), addressing the longstanding challenge of poor substrate compatibility in traditional high-temperature coatings.
The product offers flexible curing options, supporting thermal curing (above 250°C or platinum-catalyzed at 80-100°C) and UV curing. Post-curing, it forms a colorless, transparent coating with a hardness of 6-7H, boasting excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance. With a water contact angle of 100°-105°, it also delivers easy-clean properties. Notably, the cured coating is non-flammable, with a recommended service temperature of 800°C for clear coats and up to 1600°C when combined with base coatings, meeting extreme environmental demands.
IOTA 9118 spans multiple industrial scenarios:
High-Temperature Coatings: Ideal for aerospace components, automotive engines, and high-temperature equipment, providing long-lasting thermal protection.
Adhesives: Its strong bonding strength to metals and ceramics enables precision assembly of high-temperature structural parts.

The launch of IOTA 9118 expands the application boundaries of organopolysilazane materials. Through optimized production processes, it achieves over 99% purity and a linear shrinkage rate as low as 1%, ensuring minimal cracking under high temperatures. Its excellent compatibility with epoxy silicone resins and organosilicon resins further enhances formulation flexibility, laying the groundwork for customized solutions for downstream enterprises.
