July 7, 2025 – Anhui Aiyota Silicone Oil Co., Ltd. announced the launch of IOTA 208, a methyl phenyl vinyl silicone resin engineered for high-performance applications in heat-resistant addition-cure silicone rubber and high-refractive-index phenyl LED encapsulants. Synthesized from high-purity phenyl monomers via specialized post-treatment processes, IOTA 208 delivers exceptional Si-Vi reactivity, positioning it as a reliable raw material for advanced electronics and optoelectronics manufacturing.

IOTA 208’s key strength lies in its reactive Si-Vi bonds, enabling versatile chemical reactions and superior film-forming properties. When catalyzed by platinum compounds, it undergoes rapid reaction with hydrogen-containing compounds at low temperatures, requiring minimal catalyst dosage and yielding colorless, odorless products with complete conversion—significantly enhancing downstream production efficiency and product quality. Technical specifications highlight its clear, transparent liquid appearance, refractive index of 1.54, solid content ≥96%, vinyl content 3.0-3.4%, and viscosity (25°C) of 38,000-53,000 mpa·s, ensuring structural stability and optical performance under high-temperature conditions.

The product addresses critical needs in two core sectors: In high-temperature silicone rubber, its high reactivity optimizes curing processes, improving heat resistance and mechanical strength for aerospace and automotive electronics applications. In LED encapsulation, its 1.54 refractive index boosts light transmittance, enabling brighter, more reliable LED devices. Leveraging advanced manufacturing facilities in Bengbu and collaborative R&D with universities, Aiyota has achieved mass production of IOTA 208 with 96% purity, complying with RoHS environmental standards.
