Aiyota Silicone Launches Methyl Phenyl Hydrogen Silicone Resin IOTA 207, Advancing High-Temp Silicone Rubber and LED Encapsulation

July 7, 2025 – Anhui Aiyota Silicone Oil Co., Ltd. introduced IOTA 207, a methyl phenyl hydrogen silicone resin designed as a high-performance crosslinker for heat-resistant addition-cure silicone rubber and high-refractive-index phenyl LED encapsulants. Synthesized from high-purity phenyl monomers via specialized post-treatment, IOTA 207 delivers exceptional Si-H reactivity, offering a reliable material solution for advanced electronics and optoelectronics manufacturing.

IOTA 207’s key strength lies in its reactive Si-H bonds, enabling versatile chemical reactions and superior film-forming properties. When catalyzed by platinum compounds, it undergoes rapid addition reactions with alkenes at low temperatures, requiring minimal catalyst dosage and yielding colorless, odorless products with complete conversion—enhancing downstream production efficiency and quality consistency. Technical specifications include a clear, transparent liquid appearance, viscosity (25°C) of 13,000-16,000 mpa·s, hydrogen content 0.27-0.31%, refractive index 1.54, and solid content ≥96%, ensuring structural stability and optical performance under high-temperature conditions.

The product addresses critical needs in two core sectors: In high-temperature silicone rubber, its efficient crosslinking optimizes curing processes, improving heat resistance and mechanical strength for aerospace and automotive electronics. In LED encapsulation, its 1.54 refractive index boosts light transmittance, enabling brighter, more reliable LED devices. Additionally, IOTA 207 reacts with hydroxyl compounds in the presence of bases or Lewis acids to release hydrogen, supporting flexible functional material modification.

Leveraging advanced manufacturing in Bengbu and university collaborations, Aiyota has achieved mass production of IOTA 207, compliant with RoHS standards. Packaged in polyethylene drums (5Kg, 50Kg, 200Kg) and classified as non-hazardous for storage and transport, the product is now available for sample requests and bulk orders with customized technical support. “IOTA 207 fills the domestic gap in high-end hydrogen silicone resins, offering customers a cost-effective, high-performance localized alternative,” noted Aiyota’s Marketing Director.
