Recently, a new organic polysilazane product named IOTA 9150K, specifically designed for room temperature curing coating systems, has been officially launched. With its unique Si-NH-Si bond structure, IOTA 9150K can achieve efficient curing at room temperature, primarily involving the hydrolysis and oxidation of Si-NH-Si bonds, bringing a new solution to the coating industry.
IOTA 9150K not only has low viscosity and a short tack-free time but also offers diverse curing methods. After curing, it forms a non-flammable three-dimensional cross-linked structure, imparting excellent antioxidant and corrosion-resistant properties, as well as easy-to-clean characteristics. Its good adhesion allows the product to be widely applied to various substrates, including metals, alloys, glass, paint films, and plastics, meeting the needs of different fields.
Considering the high reactivity of IOTA 9150K, most products are sold in a 50% concentration form, with customers able to add solvents as needed. Its technical parameters are also impressive, such as an appearance ranging from colorless transparent to light yellow liquid, a molecular weight of 800-900, a purity of over 50%, and a viscosity of 10cp-40cp.
In terms of applications, IOTA 9150K is widely used in coatings, adhesives, non-combustible composites, polymer-based composites, as well as in glass and abrasive tool fields. Its coating hydrophobic angle reaches 100°-105°, with a light transmittance (visible light) >95% and a metal adhesion (cross-cut method) of grade 0, demonstrating outstanding performance.
