Recently, IOTA has officially launched its innovative product—IOTA ST4 High-Temperature Resistant Waterborne Nano Ceramic Coating, which has garnered widespread attention in the coating market due to its eco-friendly, high-temperature resistant, and high-performance characteristics.
IOTA ST4 coating is a waterborne coating that does not pollute the environment and does not produce toxic gases such as formaldehyde or benzene during use, ensuring the health of construction and application personnel. Utilizing special processes and formulations, the coating achieves a hardness of up to 9H, with acid and alkali resistance, and the cured coating is wear-resistant, scratch-resistant, anti-graffiti, dust-proof, oil-proof, and stain-proof. Moreover, IOTA ST4 coating can withstand high temperatures up to 900°C and can be used as a fireproof coating on wood surfaces, enhancing safety.
In terms of performance and specifications, IOTA ST4 coating appears as a colorless and transparent liquid with a solid content of 35%. The coating thickness is flexible and adjustable, with a hardness of up to 9H and an adhesion rating of 0. After curing, it presents as a transparent coating. The natural curing time is 30 minutes for surface drying and 7 days for full curing; the thermal curing time is 10 minutes for preliminary curing at 150°C, achieving a hardness of 5-8H, and 3 hours for full curing, reaching a hardness of 9H.
In terms of applications, IOTA ST4 coating is suitable for topcoats on metal, glass, ceramic, and wooden furniture surfaces, providing long-lasting protection for various substrates. The application method is simple, requiring only grinding and degreasing of the components before using brushing, dipping, spin coating, or rolling methods.
Currently, IOTA ST4 coating is packaged in 25kg plastic buckets or 200kg iron drums, with a shelf life of six months. The launch of this coating undoubtedly injects new vitality into the coating market, leading the way in eco-friendly and efficient coating.
