IOTA ST5 Transparent Superhydrophobic Nano Coating: Pioneering a New Chapter in Surface Protection

Recently, IOTA has officially launched its innovative product—IOTA ST5 Transparent Superhydrophobic Nano Coating, which has garnered widespread attention in the surface protection sector due to its outstanding superhydrophobic performance and convenient application.

IOTA ST5 coating is developed based on nano superhydrophobic materials, with superhydrophobic nano factors and surfactants as its main components. It forms a transparent nano-coating on surfaces such as glass, metal, and ceramic, exhibiting excellent hydrophobicity and water-sliding properties with a rolling angle of less than 10 degrees and water-repellent effects. The coating provides long-lasting and superior superhydrophobic functions while being user-friendly and eco-friendly.

In terms of applications, IOTA ST5 coating is widely used on surfaces such as car rearview mirrors, car windows, metal, and ceramic, effectively enhancing the waterproof, anti-fouling, and self-cleaning capabilities of these surfaces.

Regarding application methods, users simply need to thoroughly clean and dry the surfaces before spraying the coating and evenly wiping it with a dust-free cloth or tissue paper. After a few seconds, the surface can be wiped clean and bright. Baking can be performed in an oven at high temperatures (160°C) for 3 minutes or at lower temperatures (50-100°C) for 10 to 30 minutes to achieve the desired effect.

Additionally, IOTA reminds users that devices treated with superhydrophobic coatings should not be rubbed with sandpaper or exposed to oil stains. If the coating is damaged and loses its superhydrophobic effect, it can be re-treated to restore the function. It is strictly prohibited to ingest the coating, and if it accidentally gets into the eyes, please rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes. Keep the coating away from children, high temperatures, fire sources, direct sunlight, and do not puncture or incinerate the canister.
